Group UpDates!
Taiwan Taiwan 22nd to 29th Dec 09
Woots.. loved the experience at Taiwan.. performance in Taiwan was tough... I cant speak good mandarin :'( and! the people there know only mandarin related languages. >.< anyway it went well and they asked for more.. so i'm going to take that as a good sign.
Everything there is in mandarin. This includes movies and food names.
Magic shops in Taiwan sell things at really high prices. A rider deck there cost around 13SGD. While we pay around 4.50SGD here in Singapore. Weather there is really cold.. one day, it dropped to 8 degrees. I developed a cold which refused to cure in the ever cold weather. Then one day there was an earthquake.
Alright im back and the next to look for is my performance in school..yays.. but super stressed cus i havent prepared anything.. and my aim is to bring close up to stage.. which in my opinion is really tough.

Singapore magic festival 5th Dec 09
Today we went to the magic festival.. It started at 12pm. The time schedule was to be 12-8. We sat there and saw this mentalist guy who took 1min and 10 seconds to guess the person's chosen Card. Then i met tommy and a few long time magic friends there.. They were nicely dressed. They reached later than me.
Anyway.. we walked more than 1 KM to reach and realised it was held in a small corner of the building. I expected a bigger space. it was the size of 1/2 a badminton Court, including the stage.
So there are 7 people there including about 3-4 urshers. 3 judges and 1 malaysian lady who happened to pass. Nothing was sold there. Tho the schedule was 12-8, by 2.50-3pm, they thanked us for coming and asked us to return in future to see more. I guess there were too few people there.
ANyway, we later went magic shop shopping.. that was way fun! (:

My trips been confirmed! (21-30th Dec 09)
Yeah! I've gotten a free trip to perform at Taiwan. Trip has been planned around 21st to 30th December.. For the group.. erm.... i'll bring back sweets and mush mellows? hahaha.. joking. i'm aiming to visit their magic shops and prob get something nice for everyone in the group (: any request say first hor! xD but no confirmation.. cus i'm underaged to roam the streets in a foreign land myself. haha
Group meeting (13th Nov 09)
The group meeting was such a success despite the small size. Justina and a new member, candice spiced up the day! YiWei was flourishing! rawr! (: and i enjoyed watching everyone perform the most. and OMG.. how can i not know how candice and justina performed the card trick!? I still cant figure! hahahha
Group meet (24th Sept 09)
Firstly there is something wrong about this post.. haha purposely make it wrong to see who is the observant person to notice the mistake... 2ndly.. here's the group photo pic for our meet. Man i enjoyed myself.. everyone be it new or experienced performed a variety which is way better than the other magic groups i've attended..
