In 2005, Absolut Vodka commissioned a unique deck of cards to be made for a marketing tour organized by a group of young magicians. The exact details of what was request by Absolut were lost, ,among other records, when the company transferred ownership to Pernod Ricard in 2008.
They are printed on a single ply and stack up about five cards thinner than your traditional decks. the crisp snap and buttery feel make them them a must have for magicians and cardist alike. They are reported to stand up to adverse conditions and resist warping, the intent was to use these cards in colleges, bars, and night clubs.
The limited run and desirability of these cards make them a must have for collectors too.
